The FMP system is shipped in 10 ft. long halves with either stainless or anti-corrosive grade 8 fasteners included - to be installed in the “hole pattern” indicated below. Typically, one of the half sections is already cut into 5 ft. sections so that the top and bottom joints can be staggered (like brick laying), creating strength and eliminating the need for coupling on straight runs.
FMP functions as a sleeve with I.D.’s that matches the O.D. of IPS-sized conduit and pipe, allowing FMP to be used to repair damaged conduit when bolted down to create a snug fit. Internal rotational couplers are used to terminate FMP to standard manhole connections.

When directional transition is required, sweeps are available in typical bends of 11.25, 22.5, 30, 45, & 90 degrees, with radius of 18, 24, 30, & 36 in. (custom sizes are also available). Internal or external couplers are required.

When FMP is used as casing pipe, spacers are typically installed position every 6 ft. with approximately 1.5 in. clearance between the tops of the spacer’s runners and the inner wall of the FMP - with end seals. Lifting eyes may be added at the factory to facilitate safer hoisting, placement, and adjustment.
